Without in Between
And it came to pass, when he was come near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that thou art a fair woman to look upon:
12 Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see thee, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save thee alive.
13 Say, I pray thee, thou art my sister: that it may be well with me for thy sake; and my soul shall live because of thee.
14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.
15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.
16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.
Genesis 12:11-16
So it came that Abram has got to the part where the Egyptians are many. In fact, they're intimidating rather almost as Joseph's powers being just one step ahead. Though that's not entirely accurate now is it time and again as these things would soon really prove them to be. Since Abram's feeling intimidated he chose to try a little deception, which is a terrible idea as these sorts of things are come into being as they just try to create all kinds of havoc and chaos and fuss. In fact, it'll soon appear that sin has entered into the equation. Though the Egyptians are also holding some of the powers for which Abram's half truth about his wife has just been enough to revenge himself on that score in particular. It seems the Lord isn't going to take their misappropriation of power sitting down lightly. Though it would follow that Abram's perspective is just a judgement in general.
17 And the LORD plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram's wife.
18 And Pharaoh called Abram and said, What is this that thou hast done unto me? why didst thou not tell me that she was thy wife?
19 Why saidst thou, She is my sister? so I might have taken her to me to wife: now therefore behold thy wife, take her, and go thy way.
20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.
Genesis 12:17-20
It's also one that God would've honored as history tells being part of Joseph's house in particular. All his ways and his judgements are just it would seem in his continued chances to creation much rather. In fact, we've got just a few things in specific that you'll be wanting to know again later. Though the Lord sent some plagues for the misuse of powers as theirs in particular and so also for the lies that they've told. It seems the Lord's done settled the issue though just in his all that's becoming to them as a person. Basically, the Lord though sent the plagues around through the middle and with the issue soon brought to attention albeit by Abram's truth telling then in particular, Pharoah had little choice but to be good for his Word. The Lord's Word that is not his own that's for sure. If you'll look closely though at that one little line in particular, there's a commanding of Pharoah to his men concerning something, which is more than likely the powers Abram had amassed so far as well as his wife in the middle as well as the rest of the house with all that was his.
Caught in the Middle
Then when it comes to Lot once again, you'll notice he's kept himself safely out of the question, almost as though a footnote as compared to where the rest of the house really ought so to be. If I didn't know better, I'd almost say it's like Abram's doings in particular, though by absence it seems he's refrained from all sin or as the Word would've said abstained from all appearance of evil there once again. Though whether it was evil or of God the Father most truly would've only been recognized by just going on back to the Father again. It seems he's the best straightener out of the house that ever there was and so can be trusted just to bring the whole world on back to his Son regardless of whatever Lot had to say as a person. This whole indecision then doesn't speak well to the abilities of discernment in this case or does it again. It appears the only way of knowing for certain is just to trust back in him.
