Running Alongside

In the same breath, you've got Lot who's in this time but a passive observer really, or at least indeed is he. He's along for the journey that much for sure whether a passive observers or no is anyone's guess that has wondered. At this point in time you can't tell if he's a good house leader or a bad one or it's naught for but the times that he's in. In any case, it's very clear that Lot and Abram needed each other to keep the other from a fall into sin as we'll soon see time and again. By themselves, the two got into mischief quite quickly with Lot and the people though as judges went he was deemed among them more faithful that is compared with the men so as and then and Abram, well, he'd not but a minute before he'd had a run in with Sarah and her maidservant time and again. Anyhow, on the topic of forefathers in general, I find that these in their exploring the unknown to be quite the walk to remember. It'll be but a short story at times and often a run-in with Christ in his glory or it really should've been rather. Through it all though in the idealest of house leaders or just unlike Christ in general, there remains to be seen the chiefest of sinners. That is to say man is imperfect at times and so very human also being prone to their sin and that of their times. Perhaps somebody really should've spoken up to take charge of their journey on back to the land of Canaan, but as it was nobody had as of just yet heard the voice of the Lord. Then again, Lot and Abraham ran alongside for all that it matters.
