Origin
- Native to Arabia with migration to other central locations
- Obtained from the rue familius species
- Traditionally only flowers and leaves are gathered leaving the rest of the plant still in the ground
Preparation
- Caution should be used in pregnancy due to stimulation of bleeding and possible complications up to and including the loss of a baby
- Uses for relieving aches and pains of general nature along with various soothing functions in settling the stomach
- Mainline in treatment of worry conditions
- Can be consumed in the food in limited amounts
- Too much amounts causes kidney injury, stomach pain, vomiting, breathing issues, with death soon to follow
- Topical application linked to an outbreak of rashes when used without combination
- Cooking the plant recommended prior to consuming
- Lesser effects include cramping and sleep, with a loss of balance that follows
- Combinations with mint for best possible results
