Role Development
At this
point, it would only stand to reason that the professional role development
would be desperately needed if only to avoid what I'm doing right now of spending
my own personal time. It's almost like a drain on myself though unless we're
personally complaining when there's lots of other stuff I could do like
building my territory or expanding my base. All this is power related, that
much is sure, though when it comes to actually spending time with the people it's
suddenly become a lot harder to harness actual skills. Come to think of it, this
is what companies are calling as soft personal skills though there's nothing
soft about them besides simply talking to people. Though when it comes to the actual
work, it's the last sort of thing most would rather be doing because it takes
time effort, and most of all a bit of yourself. Well, more than a little bit really
but all than most would care to admit were they honest as you'd say like with themselves.
Funny thing is that sort of skill would be labelled as easy when in
reality it's a lot harder than any of that other things of the task. In
corporate world and most of all in the caring profession we like to call this a
task oriented relationship and one that's built on procedure. Come
to think of it, there's a whole lot more to the caregiving side of things
particularly when examining those person oriented of worth, though it's
often too much for the asking. Still more don't possibly remember in between
the hussle and bussle that's become their routine. Think of it really, as those
of the healthcare profession have to get up very early or late in starting
their day off the right way from there. Their boss or administrative watches
the clock-ins as they enter the building to make sure it's all working smoothly
with none early or late. The persons with their cute little appointment cards
and special reminders are almost always on time too with no difference allowed
for traffic or distance travelled to get there I guess.
Then again, if they don't
wish to come that particular day they might as well not have scheduled it for
all that as it goes on down the line right on from there. In fact, you'd not be
amiss to call it assembly-line packaging just fresh for the taking.
Once there, you'll do your work in a set certain way, which is just the way you've
been taught without ever stopping to think of the whys or the reasons behind
these set of procedures. Aren't you feeling in the least bit tired of the system
just yet and still though they keep pushing to make sure the tests are
completed and medications given and charting is always state visit ready just
as it should and all that before being allowed home at the end of the day. At
this point, I hadn't need to define it, the description's enough. I mean, aren't
you just a little bit sick of a system that frankly doesn't care about anyone's
particular sort of opinion besides just that the healthcare provider or
administrative says so and it only keeps getting worse on from there. Never mind
the fact that you've needed far more than just an impersonalized sort of
opinion or being treated like family or fairness I guess or just allowed a bit
more say than simply seeing people for their present needs of the health before
sending them home. At the same time though, the doctors busy so a free pass is
given to them mostly due to education and how much harder these would be to
replace were it not for the fact they also don't listen. To what you may ask,
as they enter the room and ask the person the cares of the body never pausing
to think about those of the soul nor yet their own present human conditions they'd
only just left back at home to come in for a few minutes of specialized visit.
What then of the humanity care and when if ever should these sorts of things be only considered from there. When looking at the business of humanity as discussed once before, there's basic human needs for survival of course, say those of food and shelter and also warmth or cooling and then something of medicine to care for the ill. That's just the basics with which to start at the beginning with a few others beside just for the taking which is where this notion of humanity comes on back into play. It's far more, see, than just treating a few ailments wrought in the body and perhaps a little more besides just such as this. It's not fair though to be expecting people to come in to the clinic though having forgotten all about this in the business of being a human. Perhaps someone doesn't have some of these very basic needs in their home and really at this point, it's kind of hard to expect the local provider to have very much say in the matter though it's kind of hard for them not when they're the authority on all things collected so far of the care. Well, not really the authority, cause there's other providers of care to be sure who also help in similar fashion but what sense does it make to send these people home after having treated the health with referrals for half a dozen other care providers or the charities. I mean, it just doesn't make sense in times of famine and shortage when the stock market's fallen and everything's done for humanity then to be suffering like no one's a person. Perhaps maybe even before though for a little, however long that is, at that point for the half a dozen other few of the fold to each be expert in housing, and feeding, and clothes. Then of course, you're there with all things of the health. Though in case you've been wondering here's how it would look in the practice. A person comes in with perhaps a whole set of generalized complaints such as fragility of the bones besides being somewhat skinny I guess though when weights are discussed, it's all a bit relative. You'd think nothing of it though of course I'm inclined to think a bit more due to the experiences had that may or may not be all the same just to you.
The proper response in issues like this is to provide food and hopefully stability also for when it's needed though perhaps somewhat later as the issues of long term food shortages are slowly addressed. It doesn't make any sense at this point to treat only the broken bones which comes along later if you can while overlooking the deeper matters of health especially when the person's allowing you to do a lot more while they're in this position. Ideally you should be inquiring about the things back at home at the least, cause if not they're just going to come in again later in the same sort of position due to the cyclic nature of all things considered. Though you probably can't be offering to do something about the issue besides having some other supports behind you backing your care. If we haven't this just yet, there's a few other things almost considered, though see what really I'm saying first if you can. When really, you're there in community care for a reason so why shouldn't you be in a position to do all things for the health whether that's for a few things or just everything else. Sure, it takes some time get out of specialization part of the first. Welcome though to the place where everything's all a part of the care and we empower the people to care for themselves whatever's occurred that'll make them capable once more than again. Then there's the real heart of the issue at hand as before we'd listen without knowing that much less for sure. With everyone present being no less deserving of care as I myself found out as at first, it seems you shouldn't be so quick to allow these things either. With that being said, it looks like the care community are those surrounding you which are in need of it no matter what anyone says or does or allows then to happen. Sure, it takes a real leader to see these things from the start no matter however dimly these are or however obscured they are for the takeover. When plotting crossover care this is something you've first got to remember that the how's of doing so is a whole different sort of an issue though how you'll do so without talking to people's the whole issue on which you and I differed.
