Origin
- Obtained from the mint family species
- Native to Arabia and a few other locations centrally
- Leaves, stems, and roots most commonly used
Preparation
- Roots in particular known to produce some counter-digestive discomfort
- Otherwise good for calming the stomach and soothing other issues of digestion, protective against nausea, vomiting, gas, bloating, and other discomfort
- Can be made into paste that's good for brushing the teeth due to tooth protective decay in species
- Clears up blemishes on the surface outward appearance when used in topical form
- Oral preparations can be taken internally
- Known to relieve congestion, cold symptoms, stress, anxiety, as well as an overpreponderance of worry
- Combinations with rue for best possible results
