This you'll remember is one of the journeys of Moses who wished to see God's face only and live. I'd like you to focus in especially on the bolded part of the text. First off though, let's just see the injunction in full.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:19-20

Alright, that's the criteria or the basis of judgment on which we'll hear the next few separate sorts of an issue. I'd like you to focus in on the good fruit or bad fruit in the text and see what of the hewing down will these sorts of things be.

18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

20 And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.

21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock:

22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:

23 And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.

Exodus 33:12-23

Alright, so you know the Lord can't be found a liar don't you and also that whatsoever he says then is true. Take heed of that one particular notice for it'll prove helpful for where all we're moving unto. Though what of the fruit in this one particular section? Is it too early to tell there once again? Perhaps there's something else you'd like to consider before choosing simply to destroy all the people and their leader without having the Lord's point of view in a notion. There, I think that's the best course of action and probably the wisest too, before you know the One to whom you're going home to.

28 Whither shall we go up? our brethren have discouraged our heart, saying, The people is greater and taller than we; the cities are great and walled up to heaven; and moreover we have seen the sons of the Anakims there.

29 Then I said unto you, Dread not, neither be afraid of them.

30 The LORD your God which goeth before you, he shall fight for you, according to all that he did for you in Egypt before your eyes;

31 And in the wilderness, where thou hast seen how that the LORD thy God bare thee, as a man doth bear his son, in all the way that ye went, until ye came into this place.

32 Yet in this thing ye did not believe the LORD your God,

Deuteronomy 1:28-32

Then there's the equal but opposite side of the story which is where Moses and the people entered in at in looking back through their wandering around in the land. It's certainly not anywhere promised them though, still can you guess what's the whole root cause of an issue? Do you see any good or bad fruit as unto men or can you find any as unto God or and then? Perhaps it's not your place is it, but to simply pause and consider that the Lord is not slack concerning this matter. Thus, of this you can be sure that the Lord knows your days having made them all well in the palm of his hand and thus it's his place to determine where all you're going there as a person.
