Focus in Particular

Then again the bigger question at this point for certain, did Abram take up the trading of people? That is to say did he ever complete the deal he was offered at that point then in the middle. You know, he had a choice truly whether to deliver the people on back to Sodom’s king who had unnaturally appeared there just then or to keep them as vassals to serve on his person. Abram though who had rights to both chose to do neither instead. Consider this, if you will, though the Scripture doesn’t outright tell all the details. It’s like this if you will, how that he’d been offered riches and treasures in return for the people. Without accepting riches and treasures there on his end he was obligated to return nothing instead. What do you think was the most likely then of the one of the two? By his giving the share of the stuff to these other men in particular, he was advising them in effect to go and be ruler. Well, not in so many words that much for sure but the thing is in that region that where you’ve got enslavement or trade or quite possibly some ill-gotten gains there’s some requirements needed for the protection of peoples. In this case, he gave stuff only to the men he’d listed which meant he trusted them and quite possibly considered them equals. Though from there, it’s anyone’s guess surely as to whether the people returned or some had gone off with these other men. Then perhaps it was just at their discretion in full about what would’ve happened at the end of the day. Though there’s just one more thing to consider before all this is said and been done in back then. Can you find any legends that would go along with a tell of this when? There’s got to be something out there hasn’t there that would provide some sort of clue at least as far as stories go as to the real heart of the tale. If you can find it, now please let me know. Then too, if not, what do you think the stories are for and do they hold any meaning for you there in the end?
